Blockchain-Based Service Orchestration for 5G Vertical Industries in Multicloud Environment

Blockchain technologies are gradually being deployed in a variety of industries, including telecommunications. In this paper, due to the strict governance telecommunication infrastructure, we propose permissioned distributed ledger (PDL)-based blockchain supported architecture for network management and orchestration platform. The work focuses on creating trusted environment both Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) managing lifecycle services (e.g., instantiation, scaling, termination, etc.) multi-cloud environment. We also validate our proposed approach with an experimental scenario using Quorum (BCN) measure various performance metrics number transactions blocks, time write, per second) different service orchestrator (SO)-related instantiation metrics. Our evaluation results show that values corresponding BCN can be completely different, suggesting some logs arrive very quickly generate high transaction load, while others take longer low transactions. As solution, at end provide recommendations appropriate optimizations during transfer SO-related BCNs observed challenges.
